I have been teaching English as a foreign language in Spain, for over ten years. I started in an academy and then after a year and a half opened my own English school in my town.
English is a popular language that is not only used when travelling but it´s also the number one language for business.
Yes and no! Of course it depends on your age, the younger you are the easier it is, but once you reach the age of seven it starts to become more difficult, so what´s the easiest way to learn? Well, in my classes you learn with immersion. From the first day you´ll be speaking English.
In my experience, the most difficult thing to overcome when learning a foreign language for many people is confidence. I´ll help you overcome any shyness you have and you´ll soon be talking with confidence.
There are many people on the internet teaching English I know, and most of them are great, but if you want everything in one place then here I am. With me you will learn some grammar but you´ll learn how to listen to English and how to speak English fluidly, and as fluently as you wish.
My background wasn´t in teaching English, in fact I only started teaching it when I came to Spain, I was, however a trainer and I have a background in performing arts, so standing in front of a crowd was never a problem!
I was actually born in Canada but moved to England when I was one and a half so my accent is British English and that is what I teach, although I do sometimes head over to American English sometimes, especially to point out differences in vocabulary.
